Maria Roussou was born and raised in Athens. Growing up in a bustling city, she always felt a deep need to be close to nature. Inspired by her mother, she began physical training at a young age. Her first encounter with Yoga came in 2010, and she immediately sensed that it was something far deeper than a simple physical practice. Her desire for deeper knowledge along with a personal health challenge led her to pursue formal Yoga Teacher Training. In 2022, she completed her foundational 250-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Christos Charikiopoulos at Ayama Yoga House. This marked the beginning of an ongoing journey of self-discovery, which she continues today through seminars and advanced 500-hour training for further insight and growth. Maria’s teaching is guided by a wish to share her personal experience and insights while remaining a humble student herself.

Kostadina's path to holistic practices began as a personal search of her own. Years of practice and teaching across Europe and Asia gently shaped that search into a way of exploring and sharing movement, breath, and the body’s inner language.
Today her work links Yoga and trauma-aware practices with ancestral and esoteric traditions, guiding individuals to tune into sensation, emotion and the quiet signals the body is always offering us. Her teaching integrates Hatha Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga, Somatics, Sound Healing, and the Kundalini & Bhakti tradition (500 RYT). Her sessions are shaped around the people in the room rather than a fixed formula. They offer space to move, breathe, listen to the body and explore the practice in a way that feels supportive and personal.
Deeply connected to nature, its sounds, colors, and sensations, she is passionate about sharing its beauty with others. She studied Early Childhood Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and earned a Master’s degree in Outdoor Education and Education for Sustainability at Linköping University in Sweden.
Returning to Greece, she collaborated with Pevkites Forest School and organized outdoor educational activities for children. Inspired by these experiences, she completed her 200 hour Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Deer Lakshmi School under Sofia Filonos.
She now collaborates with Artemis Wellness, Yoga and Meditation House, Yava Korydallos, and Pevkites, combining Yoga with Forest Pedagogy. Her love for practicing beneath the open sky continues to inspire her to explore natural spaces across Attica and connect with others who share her passion.
